In 1991, Mr. Harrington founded The Harrington Group, Inc. with a vision to help
organizations better manage and improve their quality system. Mr. Harrington’s vision
was quickly realized when he pioneered the first “Quality Management Software” for
Executives and Quality Managers. His first software suite titled "The Cost
of Quality" sold over a million copies. Mr. Harrington’s success was recognized
by INC Magazine who found his company to be one of America’s fastest growing companies.
In addition to the INC 500 Award - Mr. Harrington’s company was also recognized
by Deloitte & Touché as one of Central Florida’s “Fast 50” technology companies.
Today, as
Chairman of the Board, Mr. Harrington supports the company’s overall business
strategy and vision...developing additional software titles, such as; Corrective
Action, Document Control, Material Non-Conformance, Auditing and web based applications
for global operations and supply chain management.
Before starting The Harrington Group, Inc.
Mr. Harrington held executive management positions with Martin Marietta Aerospace,
NASA, Lockheed Aircraft, and Pratt & Whitney Aircraft.

Co-founded by the father-son team of Richard Harrington Sr. and Richard Harrington Jr. in 1991, The Harrington Group stands as the world's leading manufacturer of quality management software for small to enterprise level businesses and corporations.

Described as focused, funny, passionate, sincere, and dynamic, Richard Harrington Jr. has infused The Harrington Group with his own forms of energetic leadership, vision, and spirit over the years.
Richard Harrington Jr. grew up in Orlando, FL and Sacramento, CA, and later attended college in San Diego. Since then, he has held ownership of several successful businesses while managing the daily operations and activities of the many employees under his leadership.
As Chief Executive Officer, he is focused on continuing innovation and leadership across the company's core businesses. He is dedicated to ensuring that the Harrington Group's goal of establishing a cloud-based, multi-lingual, total quality management system is fully realized on a global scale.

Tom Quinn

Tom brings a wealth of sales and management experience to HGI from former positions as Fleet Manager for Inland Express and Director of World Sales for Inland Crane.
Tom joined the Harrington Group in 1999 and has held the positions of Senior Systems Engineer, Account Manager, Sales Manager, Facility Security Manager, General Manager and Vice President of Sales. In addition to leading the sales teams, he was instrumental in securing key sales accounts with major corporations such as Martin Marietta, General Electric, American Red Cross, Northrup Grumman, British Petroleum, Raytheon and many more.
In his current role as VP of Sales, Tom uses his vast technical and sales experience to direct the Harrington sales and customer support teams. Tom drives the company’s sales strategies, including new business development, expansion and penetration into existing client accounts.

Ed Niemiec

Ed is a graduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, Massachusetts with a degree in Architectural Engineering. He was a career naval officer and aviator having flown the F8, F4 and F14 fighter aircraft while serving aboard the aircraft carriers Kitty Hawk and America.
As Director of Business Alliances, Ed brings extensive experience in directing revenue-driven new business initiatives and channeling sales development for content management, process automation and business intelligence software companies. He has extensive domestic and international executive management experience in sales, marketing and new business development.
He has directed partner and channel sales programs from start-up to highly profitable business units for Universal Systems and Critical Technologies. While at Information Builders, Ed developed training manuals for new business development, channel sales development and major account development that became corporate standards.
Since joining HGI in May of 2011, Ed is engaged in developing a worldwide domestic and international alliance partner and channel sales program.
